
Looking forward to mid Oct as the Eagles begin to collect prier to the start of migration. Last year I lost count after 75 and would estimate that well over 100 Eagles would have been seen on that day.
Now is the 4 hr.drive worth while…absolutely.

Each year the English Garden in Wpg. attract a wide array of birds, the bonus this year was one of the juvenile Cooper’s Hawk that seemed unconcerned with the presence of humans.

Majority of the time they pick a plant and work their way around the flower collecting the nectar…then off to another flower to repeat the process. This will continue for short periods of time then they disappear as fast as they appeared.
I would only think that they are perhaps taking a break before getting back to the flowers.
