Snowy Owls now being the main focus as we near mid-March. Many of the back roads had been choked with snow and impassable and some have been plowed to some degree.
There are signs that say “Impassable When Wet”…who would have thought these dirt roads would be so greasy at this time of year as I found out.
Luckily I was able to keep the truck between the ditches and didn’t have to walk to Mr. Farmer asking for help.
It’s a good thing I’m familiar with the area and know the back roads well after spending years searching for the Great White Snowy Owls from the North.
After a little driving excitement on the greasy road the search continued on better traveled gravel.
At the end of the day one can look back and say…”Worse the Conditions the Better the Stories”.
