From time to time an enjoyable couple hours can be sent at one of the many ponds in Winnipeg…St.Vital Park just happens to be a great place for watching ducks and geese.

Falcon Cam goes Live
The Peregrine Falcon Recovery Project is excited to announce the partnership with Shaw TV Winnipeg and that the Falcon Cam from downtown Winnipeg at the Radisson Hotel.

Eggs are due to hatch near the end of May…then the excitement begins.

Nest Site Check
Recently heard that Osprey had been sighted at a couple of locations…after a long winters wait it was time for my first check on sites up Gimli way. There was a concern which was if Geese had decided to nest in one of the Osprey nests again…as this had happened before.
It was a relief to find that Osprey where at both sites…hopefully it will be a good year for them.
