Don’t know where the time goes…finally a chance to get back out to check the owlets.
The kids are definitely growing compared to my last visit and more adult like feathers are now appearing.

Kick Off to Summer
We have all been waiting for the Victoria Day long week-end…this is the official kick off to summer.
Well if your off to the cabin, camping or just around home…enjoy.
Hopefully my week-end won’t be all work and there will be time and action spent at the Osprey nest sites.

Background on West Wpg Resident Male
Ty our resident male now in West Winnipeg was hatched on the East side ledge at the Radisson Hotel in 2009 ( Princess & Trey )
Then in 2012 it was confirmed that Ty had survived his first year and had returned to Manitoba and nested in a Raven’s nest with an unbanded female at the Shaw Communication tower in Selkirk.
He went under the radar for some time until he showed up in West Wpg in 2015 and has been the resident male since.
