Only a face a mother could love…the Turkey Vulture defiantly isn’t one of the prettiest birds.
Being Eagle like in size when seen perched or soaring, you quickly recognise that it’s a Vulture by the red head.
These birds like to nest in old abandoned barns…perhaps one day I’ll find a nest site.
Bit of a change in pace…switching from birds to mammals.
This will be a lead-in to future photos that will be coming in time.
Earlier in the spring a fox den with kits being observed over a couple different day’s…this was almost more exciting than tracking birds.
It’s the Catch of the Day…Osprey style.
