As the seasons change so do the subjects.We are approaching the First Day of Autumn and it’s easy to think of Gray,Hawk and Snowy Owls.
Before we get into the winter owls there will be the opportunity to head North up along the shores of Lake Winnipeg and Eagles.
Each year they begin to collect during October and feed on fish discarded by the commercial fishermen.
Hopefully there will again be good numbers and sunny days.
With fall migrations well underway the English Gardens attracted many photographers and birders in the first part of Sept…all with a common interest.
It’s always nice to run into folks that one has met over the years and be able to get caught up.
My focus was on hummingbirds as it was for most. When the hummers show up, the chatter ends and all that can be heard is the clickety-click click of cameras.
Time to mix it up a bit…some times it’s just plain fun to sift through files from past trips out-n-about.
I remember this particular morning well and spending time with a vixen and her kits
