Returning from an out-n-about trip and a little stop at Lockport.
Now there are reason to make this stop…
1 – Pelicans…always a fun time photographing them.
2 – Skinners or the Half Moon Drive-In for a hot dog after shooting Pelicans.
How could one go wrong ?
My love for Peregrines is a given…sometimes when out-n-about you take the next best thing.
Merlin’s are smaller Falcons and simply put a Peregrine want-a-be.
Excitement builds when you hear that familiar Ki-Ki-Ki-Ki-Ki
West Wpg site check had found Ella suddenly making a fast direct flight as if on a mission. Then watching her appear and disappear over a low building…it was apparent the hunt was on and she was focused on a pigeon. After three missed attempts she came to rest on the light stand…she simply sat and looked around before taking off.
I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.
