It appears that one of the osprey chicks at Gimli has the landing down pat.

At the Lake
Something I had been putting off for some time was to clean up some of the deadfall in the back bush at our summer place in Gimli. The afternoon turned out well as I stumbled across a nest site of a Greater Crested Flycatcher … needless to say that was the end to cleaning up the deadfall.
