Sometimes things fall into place and the rewards are worth the trip…you never exactly know what is going to unfold or what the owl will do or not do next.

I felt sorry for this old guy that had come so far to visit on such a beautiful morning. I had a good night of hunting and had taken time to preen so all my feathers were in place.
Being the nice Great Gray that I am I just sat there as he clicked away…hopefully he got my good side ?

The owling season is drawing to a close and difficult to say if I’ll have a chance at the Great Grays again ? Rough estimate would be that they may be around for a couple weeks before they head back to the bogs to begin mating.
