I think our Snow is here to stay. With that being said…it’s always exciting to spot that first winter owl, like this Hawk Owl from last year.
There are still things to do in the “Job Jar”…but Owling may take priority ??

High Hopes of a Good Year for Winter Owls
As the mercury drops I find myself thinking more and more of the returning Winter Owls.
Hopefully it will be a good year for the Snowy, Great Gray and Hawk Owls.
Time will tell.
Thinking About Day’s to Come
Yesterday my thoughts turned to Winter Owls after having record breaking temps across much of Manitoba.
Once again I’m looking forward to be searching for the Winter Owls when the mercury begins to drop come November.
With fingers crossed that it’s going to be a good Owling Winter ?
