Snow, Cold & Snowy Owls go together like Coffee, Apple Pie & Ice Cream…just sayin.

You never know just when they will take off.
Over the years I’ve learned that there are a couple of indications that they are ready to go.
It’s all about what to watch for…first comes the crouch then the lift off.

So far this year has been decent with a well rounded mix of both males and females. For what ever reason there as been day’s when they won’t cooperate and are off and flying as soon as you stop.
Then you stumble across one that could care less so you just sit and wait for him to make a move.
