Under ideal flying conditions and we have lift-off.

After days of doom, gloom and windy conditions finally some sun…so it was a drop everything and head out-n-about for Snowy Owls.

I’ve been seeing reports that the odd Snowy has been seen around the Winterpeg area over the last couple week which was much earlier than last year.

Always exciting to hit the back roads in search of finding that FIRST winter visitor from the Tundra.

Hopefully it’s a decent year for them again…along with our other winter owls.
