Switching from large Eagles to smaller Snow Buntings (sparrow like in size) that migrate from the Arctic to the southern parts of the prairies at this time of year…they are often seen while in search of Snowy Owls along the roadsides in flocks during the winter months here in Manitoba…apparently they also like the shorelines of Lake Winnipeg at Grand Beach.

Bunting at the Gardens
Another take on the Indigo Bunting found in the English Gardens, Wpg. mid Aug. I had planned on returning a couple more times but there always seemed to be other things pop up…the joy’s of retirement.
