Well it’s that time of year…Peregrines have been returning and getting down to business.

We have been closely monitoring the sites and confirming over the last little while who has paired up with who…this is what we know as of April 28.

– Radisson…Pip & Fiona have 3 eggs and she choose the East Side ledge (not what we wanted but it is what it is)
– West Wpg…Ty & Ella have settled right in and now 3 eggs.
– Logan…Hart & Spencer also with 3 eggs.
– Incubating has now begun at these locations.
– will also be keeping a close eye on other locations to see how they progress
– last but not least…now working out details to have a Live Camera View.
Yes everyone will be notified when/if this happens.

I’m Out of Here

West Wpg site check had found Ella suddenly making a fast direct flight as if on a mission. Then watching her appear and disappear over a low building…it was apparent the hunt was on and she was focused on a pigeon. After three missed attempts she came to rest on the light stand…she simply sat and looked around before taking off.
I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Well That’s No Crow

So it begins…with the return of Peregrines site checks has become part of my daily routine The norm is to check site locations as well as roof top corners in the surrounding area where they love to sit…that’s a given.
Well sometimes we come across something out of the norm and could have been easily missed.
Now it’s common to find a crow on a light stand but not a Peregrine…just sayin.
Meet Ella the resident West Wpg female.
