Now the Fun Begins

Saturday March 11th 2:45 pm.our first bird returned to Winnipeg. Now confirmed that the first bird back was Hart. He’s the resident male from the Logan territory and not where he should be by hanging out at the Radisson.

Sunday, March 19th a second bird (female) think we know who she is but still need to confirm. She is also out of her territory.

Late afternoon another female shows up and it may very well be Joli, ( out of territory ) Hart’s mate from Logan.

It’s not Joli’s first time to visit the Radisson over the years.

Appears it could be an interesting year.

Peregrine back in Winnipeg

First Peregrine has been sited in Winnipeg air space, all indications point to one of the resident males…the right color band, on the right leg and the letter “T” has been seen, so 99% sure it’s “Hart”…so now the fun begins with seeing who will return, who is hooked up with who and confirming band numbers.

When Birds Return

In little over a months time we could have Peregrines back in Winnipeg air space.

Each year we ask ourselves, will Princess return ?

Princess has been the resident female at the Radisson Hotel since 2004, as of last year she was with her 3rd. partner.

Well keeping the fingers crossed that she will return and have another successful year.
