Princess Takes Time for a Portrait
Another exciting day banding ( June 25th. ) the Radisson Hotel chicks downtown Winnipeg…2 females and 1 male, all are healthy and doing well
Meet Princess…Minneapolis Minnesota hatch 2002.
Princess is now 15 years old and has been the resident female at the Radisson since 2004.
During this time she has had 4 mates…Trey, Ivy,Smiley and now Pip.
Recent photos are towards the end of the gallery…with more action photos of both Princess & Pip being added in the next few days so keep checking back.

Peregrine Defence Mode Kicks In
No sooner is the key in the lock with the door just cracked and that familiar kack-kack-kack-kack can be heard…it’s as if she can she through metal and concrete.
You take a deep breath and step outside ready to “Run the Gauntlet” and you wonder…will today be the day I get hit ?
By this time she has already made her first pass and coming in for the second as I raise the camera.
All these birds are great protectors/defenders and the females even more so.
