As the season change so do my subjects. It’s been a good year for owls and then to round off the season with a Barred Owl…couldn’t ask for anything better.

Now at the point of winding down on winter owls and gearing up for the return of the Peregrines.

The work well underway with last minute things to do…and many questions ?

…The biggest question…will Princes return for year 16 ?
…Will Hurricane return for year 10 ?
…Who will show up…who won’t show up ?
…Who will partner with Hart and Sundance ?

All questions that will be answered in due time… it’s going to be and interesting year.

Thinking ahead to thoughts of spring…we could be seeing Peregrines in Winnipeg air space as soon as 24+ days ?
Last year our first bird showed up March 11th which isn’t that far away…so my count down timer has begun.

The question always remains, will Princess return again this year ? She’s now 16 and has been the resident female at the Radisson Hotel since 2004…time will tell.

There will soon be much to do in prepping for their return…then the excitement begins to see who’s back and who is with who.
