If it’s a tree decoration it dependently appeared to be real…just sayin !
Great Horned Owl found resting after what appeared to be a morning of feeding the youngsters.
The tell tale stains around the beak was a clear indication.

The Endless Task
Seems that the work is never done as the Osprey continually bring sticks to the nest site.
Even now that there are two youngsters that are near to fledging.
I wouldn’t be surprised if on the next visit I find a youngster up and flying…time will tell ?
Something Different
The Barn Swallow can be found across Canada. These amazing small birds spend a great deal of time constructing their nests. The nest which is made from mud and grass would be constructed under the eaves or inside sheds, barns, bridges and other structures.
From what I understand they return to the same location and reuse the a nest from a previous year.
Common to see 3-6 chicks in these small cup like nests and great fun to watch.
