When the mercury dips to -30c without even thinking of what it is with the wind-chill factored in…I begin thinking how much I miss the summer with plus temperatures.
Must be a sign of getting Older…but the clicker finger is still working.
Easy to reflect back on time spent with the Osprey at the summer place.

Back to one of my Fall Eagle Voyages and my sit-n-wait approach. As stated previously there had been great numbers of Eagles collecting before migration. So many that attempting to count them became impossible…perhaps next October I’ll need to take an assistant just to count birds.
Until then and when I get bored I browse the Eagles 2020 folders and relive all the excitement.
After spotting the Rough-Legged Hawk that didn’t take to flight as soon as I stopped was an unexpected surprise.
So there I sat patiently waiting for some action…munching on some snacks and drinking cold coffee.
Finally it was Show Time.
