It was unclear if Jr was having a disagreement with Dad or just yelling out that he/she was hungry. After a brief stop Dad left the nest as the juvenile continued with the non stop calling for some time.
Short time later Jr did have a meal delivered.
Some times while I’m Out-n-About it’s nice to stop and have lunch with someone or some bird.
The Bald Eagle didn’t seem to mind me joining him/her for lunch.
As the seasons change so do the subjects.We are approaching the First Day of Autumn and it’s easy to think of Gray,Hawk and Snowy Owls.
Before we get into the winter owls there will be the opportunity to head North up along the shores of Lake Winnipeg and Eagles.
Each year they begin to collect during October and feed on fish discarded by the commercial fishermen.
Hopefully there will again be good numbers and sunny days.
