Mother Nature can be cruel at times…a storm that hit the Gimli area June 7 did a great deal of damage in the nature world.
The extreme high winds took its toll leaving behind two downed trees that was home to active nests. With one Osprey and a Eagles nest both lost along with the young ones…sad to see.

Mr Eagle returns to the nest site with some nest material…perhaps the little ones needed a little extra padding ?
