Only felt it fare to change it up a bit and not to bore folks with “Another Owl Photo”
I can remember the encounter like it was yesterday on that dead-end road…well maybe not yesterday but rather 158 days ago.
For sure some fun time spent with this juvenile Swainson’s Hawk.
I’m not a happy camper when they issue a Winter Storm Warning days in advance…I assumed that we would be missed but on the off chance they were correct decided to make a run up along the shore of Lake Winnipeg in search of Eagles this passed Tuesday.
Good thing as the forecast held true and we’ve been hit with a Colorado Low that has made Hwy driving treacherous.
So the search for Eagles proved to be rewarding as they are starting to collect and it’s hard to say if I get back up there ??
Beginning to think of trips up along the shore of Lake Winnipeg for the opportunity to visit with the Eagles that will be collecting. This will take place mid October into November.
Hopefully there will be some exciting action but it will be what it will be…nothing is a given when dealing the critters Mother Nature gives us.
