{"id":2892,"date":"2022-10-27T08:02:17","date_gmt":"2022-10-27T13:02:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/photosbydennis.ca\/blog\/?p=2892"},"modified":"2022-10-27T08:02:17","modified_gmt":"2022-10-27T13:02:17","slug":"october-eagles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/photosbydennis.ca\/blog\/2022\/10\/27\/october-eagles\/","title":{"rendered":"October Eagles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" onmousedown=\"alert('Sorry ... you will need to contact me if you wish to use this photo')\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pbase.com\/photosbydennis\/image\/173101360\/large.jpg\" alt=\"photo courtesy of Dennis Swayze\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Middle of Sept I indicated that I was looking forward to a mid-October Eagle Run up on Lake Winnipeg.<br \/>\nThe timing was perfect for a photographer friend visiting from Montreal and she was excited to join me to make the Eagle Run.<\/p>\n<p>Eagles being scavengers they tend collect near and around the fish dumps at this time of year where the commercial fishermen discard remains.<br \/>\nApparently the commercial fishing has now been extended an extra week due to low volumes of fish being taken.<br \/>\nThis was evident upon our arrival\u2026still I was confident that things would change from what we witnessed and only needed a couple hours.<\/p>\n<p>Bottom line is\u2026sometimes you go with your gut feeling and reap the rewards.
