Herons are very cautious birds, and will often take flight once they have spotted something that they feel is a threat.<br \/>\nTherefore one needs to use the vehicle as a blind to watch these birds.<br \/>\nThey spend most of their time slowly wading along the shoreline in search of food&#8230;stopping and standing motionless for minutes at a time.
