They can be found nesting in parks and on residential streets through out Winnipeg. They prey on small song birds and mammals and often seen perched around yards with bird feeders where they sit and wait for prey.<br \/>\nOn a side note&#8230;the young love to use puddles and birdbaths to bath in.<br \/>\nThis juvenile was just doing some stretching.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cooper&#8217;s Hawk&#8230;perhaps the most quiet of all raptors.
